The Best Baked Spaghetti

Baked spaghetti is a family favorite and one of my favorite cheat meals! Its easy to make and it just adds something to your regular spaghetti dinner. This recipe for spaghetti is a bit different than your mama’s spaghetti I am sure but it is soooo good!

What You Need

  • 1lbs of sausage
  • half a pound of spaghetti noodles
  • 2 jars of spaghetti sauce
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 6 oz pack of pepperonis
  • 10 oz of parmesan (not Kraft the good stuff you find in the deli area)
  • 12 oz of feta
  • fiesta blend cheese

Start by cutting up your peppers and onions. You can make these pieces as big or small as you prefer. Put them to the side.

Slice your pepperonis in half. You can use the whole bag or just some depends on preference. You can also cut the halves into halves if you prefer. Put these aside as well.

Go ahead and start boiling your noodles. While they boil brown your sausage.

As your sausage browns start adding the peppers, onions, and pepperonis.

Once your peppers and onions are cooked to your preference (you can cook them softer or leave them a little more crunchy) add your sauce. We love a ton of sauce so two jars usually do it!

Go ahead and preheat your oven to 375

Make sure to check your noodles you do not want them over done. Once done you will want to pull them off the heat and drain as much of the water out as you can.

Go ahead and mix the noodles and the sauce, veggie and meat mixture together.

Now for this I try to use a 9 by 9 square pan.

Start with a layer of spaghetti around the bottom of the pan as evenly as possible.

Now layer some shredded parmesan and then feta

another layer of spaghetti.

and keep with the spaghetti then parm and feta pattern until you reach the top of the pan.

the top layer will end in parm then feta then fiesta blend cheese.

Slide in the oven until all the cheese is melted.

let cool and enjoy!

This is a family favorite and one of my favorite recipes to share or send as a ready made dinner just heat and serve when gifting a meal! Its definitely a beloved meal and I cant wait to hear your feedback on how much your family loved it!

Until Next Time!
