I’m so excited to make a keto version of the Tomato and Feta TikTok pasta tonight for dinner and bring it to you all here after a much needed break from the blog. I love this because even without pasta you can customized this for your family. So tonight I bring you Tomato and feta with shrimp!

What You Need:
- Shrimp (whatever size you prefer I done small since thats what had on hand)
- Tiny Tomatoes
- Avocado oil
- Spices (I used garlic powder and creole you can switch these based on the meat you use)
- Pepper and salt to taste
So preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Pour your tomatoes into your dish. ( I used a square glass dish). Spread them apart and place your feta in the middle you can use crumbles if you don’t have a block on hand.
Then pour plenty of your oil over both and add your chosen spices.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes or until feta is golden brown on top.
While that is baking. now is a great time to cook your meat. I pan fried the shrimp in a little oil and minced garlic. However you can add chicken or cauliflower rice or any other keto toppings (including vegetables). Now is the best time to cook whatever you choose.
After Feta is golden brown pull from oven and mix together well. Then add meat and any other additives you may wanted to include.
Dish out and serve. Let cool a bit as it will be hot. And most importantly Enjoy!
Now in the title I’m definitely using quotes as you can see because this isn’t exactly pasta however there are some great additives out there that are keto friendly so this isnt just tomatoes and melted cheese.
First off chips! If you are low carb like me you know chips are usually a no no. However a couple low carb tortillas and some coconut oil in a frying pan and you can easily make some low carb chips.
Sausage. Chicken or Italian sausage would be great additions to this sauce.
Chicken itself would be a great addition to this.
There are carb free or low carb pasta alternatives. However be careful about what pastas you think may be keto friendly as you may be surprised. I was at Walmart shopping and noticed cauliflower pasta. I thought it would be a great addition flipped it over to look at the carb count and it had more carbs than regular pasta. Everything thats cauliflower ain’t gold! But luckily for us someone else was shocked too and decided to make actual keto alternatives. Zucchini noodles are a great alternative. Pasta Zero is another great alternative we love in this house (even my non-keto folks). And amazon has some amazing alternatives as well but again check the carbs first!
You can also add other veggies to spice it up and use different seasoning to match your meats.
This sauce also makes a great sauce to cover fish or cauliflower rice as well!
and there you have it another great low carb meal easy to cook that the family will love.
