St. Patricks day is coming up March 17th and green is the color of the day! So many fun ways to make this cute little holiday extra exciting for your little but for today we are gonna look at five things we can turn green that keep the color theme going and make sure the fun never stops…atleast for that day!
It is so easy to grab a little green food coloring and turn a little sprite or Milk green for a little green surprise. You can even allow them to mix their own drink and watch as it turns green which may help them drink it but also counts as science or art!
Green eggs and ham is great for Dr. Suess day but it is also a great way to add some festive breakfast to the table! You can also color spaghetti noodles for dinner as well! Color the whipped cream on pancakes. Green Ice cream or Icing on cupcakes is a fun way to celebrate as well!
I’m sure you thought this would be all about food at first but it definitely isn’t! Tie dye or a full on dye of shirts, socks, hats, and even pants is a fun way to spend time together; make something super creative; and celebrate St. Patricks day! You could even find a cheap pair of generic Kids or other cloth sneaker and dye those too!
Now I don’t suggest fully dying your littles hair however you can usually find hair chalk or temporary hair spray in stores and doing a small peek-a-boo for your little or spraying a 4 leaf clover in their hair with a stencil and temp colored hair spray is a fun way to let them be creative as well as have fun! Plus its temporary so no harm no foul!
There are so many instructions on how to dye paper according to Pinterest. This could be a fun way to create a cute note for friends or family. Let them dye their own paper and write to friends or you can dye it and leave them a sweet note in their lunch box or next to their breakfast.
These fun ideas are so easy and can be a great way to spend time together or to surprise your littles with a fun creative treat on St. Patricks day! We have some fun FREE downloads coming your way as well to keep your littles busy and creative!
Until next time! XOXO
